Our Team
Brie Mathers
Brie has spoken to over 100,000 teen girls worldwide with her multi-media event Love the Skin You’re In. From a European tour to a National Youth Week tour across New Zealand, from Cape Cod to Vancouver, she has inspired young women to find compassion within themselves and to resist the looks-based social comparison that floods their Instagram feeds.
After winning OFSAA as an 800-metre runner at 15, Brie battled an eating disorder. Love the Skin You’re In is her answer to the socially contagious mental health challenges girls face. She loves gathering young women together to lead an illuminating conversation about our bodies, beings, and collective future.
Today, Brie lives and travels between Ontario, Canada and Santa Cruz, California with her husband (a kindred spirit and activist).
Nick Cholmsky
Nick is a current McGill University student and our newest addition to the team. He was born in Charlottesville, Virginia and lived most of his life in Ottawa, Ontario.
Having battled depression in high school, Nick followed a path many boys and masculine-identifying people follow: Ashamed of his emotions, he hid them instead of taking the action to address and overcome them. Through this experience, Nick discovered a severe lack of discourse surrounding men’s mental health and the concept of masculinity. After performing his debut TedX talk in early 2024, he joined the Youth Resiliency Project to bring a much needed voice to the world of masculinity.
